FAQs
Does this block my dash-mounted camera monitor or CarPlay screen?
It sits in the cubby, not on top of your dash. That leaves the flat dash space for your monitor, and the adjustable arm lets you place your phone clear of the screen. One Sprinter owner with a camera monitor on the left side chose the Smash Mount so he didn't have to glue anything to his dash.
Do I need to remove anything before installing?
Yes, one thing on the 2007–2018 Sprinter: pull out the factory textured silicone pad from the cubby before you install. It comes out by hand, and the mount sits in its place. After that, you just press it in. No drilling, no adhesive, no tightening..
What's the difference between the Batwing and the regular cubby mount?
They mount in different spots. The Batwing fits the small cubbies on either side of your touchscreen on 2019 and newer models. The Original and DUBL kits fit in the cubby below the stereo head unit in the 2019 and up utility version vans, or in the cubby that sits down lower on the 2007 - 2018 years. (If you want Batwing versions for the Utility models, they are a different size. Please contact us for those)
Batwings come in Left, Right, or a Pair. A pair puts a mount on each side, useful if you want your phone on one side and a tablet or second device on the other. Also great for passengers.

Is this compatible with the RAM Mount accessories I already own?
Yes. Our standard Smash Mount uses a 1-inch B-size ball, so it works with a wide range of RAM arms, X-Grips, tablet holders, and other B-size accessories
What's the difference between the Original, DUBL, and DUBL Complete kits?
Original has one mount with one phone holder.
DUBL has two ball mounts and one phone holder, so you can add a second device later.
DUBL Complete has two ball mounts, two arms, and two phone holders, so driver and passenger (or phone plus tablet) are covered from day one.
If you only need one phone up front, go with the Original. If you want a second device, go with the DUBL Complete.
