(2014-2024 SR5, TRD OR, TRD Pro....EXCLUDES "LIMITED" MODELS) It's the no brainer that you've been waiting for. It effortlessly "SMASHES" into that useless cubby hole in your dash and turns it into the best phone mount with the best placement possible. Standard sized drinks like Energy drinks and water bottles can still utilize the cup holder with either model. (Unfortunately this will not allow for the larger 40oz cups like Yeti's and Stanley's)

Just installed and used it today...On road its solid does what its supposed to do. You di lose a cup holder and the design of the actual phone holder part is kinda dated but tried and trueSlight loss of leg room
Honestly if you made the lil cubby mount with a ball mount right off of it(I think another manufacturer already does this though..) but otherwise it's almost perfect as it. I LOVE that this mounts in that lil cubby slot. I was actually searching for something to screw or glue or whatever into that same area when I found this And with the inclusion of a metal ball on the V3 I highly recommend. The V2 was sturdy enough to keep my iphone 14 in place(not nearly as heavy as the pro max devices I know) After a while I wasn't thrilled with the location of my phone or the 30% loss in use of my front cupholder but it's just 3D printed plastic so I was able to make a few adjustments with a hacksaw, some fibertape, a little epoxy and magnetic holder that fits the 17mm ball.. doesn't look nearly as elegant as the original product...

perfect fit, solid. Cup holder I lost is now a small trash holder. A bit of a learning curve for my knee but over it. Highly recommend.
Good product and arrived as advertised. The only down side is the sacrifice of the front cup holder.
Phone holder don't fit my 24 4 runner limited
I’ve tried a couple other kinds of phone holders for my 5th gen 4Runner and this one is by far the best. It’s angled so you can still put something in the front cupholder and it doesn’t come over far enough to be in the way of your knee.

I really like this thing. I don’t like the vent holders for obvious reasons but this one drops my phone out of view from the rest of the world and it’s easier to make quick adjustments to the screen with my phone at a lower position.
It mounts directly to the unused space in the dash of my 4Runner and keeps my phone stabile. Only issue I ran across was that the actual phone holder itself can loosen up over time which causes the phone to droop. Simple fix all you need is an Allen wrench to tighten and you’re good to go. I highly recommend

I have spent LOADS of money on 4runner gadgets including phone holders/mounts. The Smash Mount is by far the best; conveniently located and makes use of wasted 4runner compartments. I highly recommend. Customer service is top notch!!
Great idea but could be better. I like that there’s no real installation. The makers use what was a pretty useless part of the 4Runner’s dash to mount this. My primary issue is that it doesn’t always stay put. On more than one occasion it’s just fallen out. easy to pop back in, but still.
A must have for phone in a 4Runner, Works good in my 2015 4 Runner. Drink hold can still be use, but not with every type of cup
Finally a car cellphone holder that might actually last. This makes great use of the nook in the Toyota 4Runner. It was a little hard to get it to go into the nook but once you get it in it holds tight. It does leave room for a drink in the cup holder.
Fits in one of the small cubbies that isnt useful for much. Fits nice and tight and doesn't move around. Puts phone in perfect spot to reach or look at navigation.
Love having a phone holder that's not in my line of sight when driving. It does slightly block the front cup holder, but cup holder still functional. Fits perfectly and holds the phone great!
I bought this phone holder and the one that goes over the hazard button for my wife to choose from. She ended up keeping both. This one, my wife likes the best, and it is for sure the strongest built. The bolt that keeps the ball on the arm comes loose, but a little lock-tight fixes it right up. It hits my knee a little, and it blocks some of the cup holder, so you can't fit bigger cups nearer the console, but we can still fit a small tumbler in that cup holder. The position makes reading maps or using the phone very convenient. These 4Runners are so small there isn't a perfect place.

Great use of a useless hole in the 4Runner. Innovative design. Super sturdy. The only flaw is that is partially blocks one of the cup holders. Otherwise, it solved my problem with other mounts blocking the air vents.**Update**This product has potential. The location where the mount holds the phone is not ideal though. It took me some time to realize this, and unfortunately its too late for me to return. The clamp and phone protrudes into the leg area of the driver. If you keep you leg tensed up and flexed in the opposite direction, its fine, but if you ever want to relax your leg, you'll end up hitting the mount and on a couple occasions it got knocked out of its hole. This design could be so much better if it just routed the clamp and position of the phone to where it is above the 4 wheel drive selector. I won't be using this anymore and going back to my past phone mount. I really regret buying this.
Fits well in its place however the back screw likes to work loose every other week and the phone will start to twist as u drive.
I love this thing. Works exactly as it says it does. By far my favorite accessory I've purchased for my 4Runner. Must have.
